Introduction

Following the research project “Chinese and European Digital Lexicography” [中欧数字辞书创新发展路径比较及对策研究] (n° G2023157010L) , now completed and having opened new avenues of reflection on lexicographic innovation, we are continuing this international dynamic.
Building on the 9th International Conference on Pedagogical Lexicography, Teaching and Learning of L2s (PL&LTL 2024) – Lexicography and Knowledge Services in the Age of AIGC , as well as the International Expert Seminar Series in Computational Lexicology and Lexicography , the NPCL² 2026 International Conference – New Perspectives in Computational Lexicology and Lexicography: From Data to Dictionaries aims to strengthen collaboration among researchers from several countries (France, China, Italy, Portugal, Canada, etc.) and to bring together international experts to address current and future challenges in computational lexicology and lexicography.

Scope (non-exhaustive)

Corpus-driven dictionary building for Asian languages and scripts (e.g., Chinese, Japanese, Korean, Vietnamese, Indic scripts, Thai, etc.).
Data → Dictionary pipelines: ingestion, normalization, tokenization for multi-script and low-resource settings.
Sense modelling & representation (polysemy, multiword expressions, phraseology) with OntoLex-Lemon, SKOS, and Linked Open Data.
Knowledge graphs and alignments (e.g., Wikidata/DBpedia) for lexical/encyclopedic integration.
LLMs in lexicography: definition generation, example sentence creation, error analysis, controllability, evaluation.
Annotation & evaluation: guidelines, inter-annotator agreement, automatic metrics, human evaluation protocols.
Cross-lingual/contrastive lexicography (including dialectal variation and transliteration issues).
Tools & platforms: APIs, interfaces, and workflows for dictionary authoring, validation, and publication.
Ethics & governance: bias, fairness, licensing, and sustainability of data and models.
Applications: educational lexicography, domain-specific dictionaries, interactive/embedded dictionaries.
